Jakarta – Through a simultaneous inauguration process held at the State Palace, Jakarta, Major General TNI (Ret.) Andi Sumanggerukka and Ir Huguha were officially inaugurated as Governor and Vice Governor of Southeast Sulawesi for the 2025-2030 period, Thursday, 20 February 2025.
The inauguration was preceded by the taking of the oath of office, led directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia. In the oath of office, the Governors and Deputy Governors, Regents and Deputy Regents, as well as Mayors and Deputy Mayors promised to fulfill the quality as regional leaders with the best and fairest.
After taking the oath of office, the inauguration continued with the awarding of rank insignia and the signing of the minutes. Governor of Sultra, Andi Sumanggerukka, stated that he and his Deputy were ready to follow the President’s instructions and focus on the first 100 days of work.
“Alhamdulillah. Today, I and Mr. Hugua have undergone the simultaneous inauguration process. Insya Allah, with the permission of Allah, we will work to the maximum for the Sultra region,” he said.
The former Commander of the 143rd Military Resort reminded that the democratic party or election phase has ended, and now it’s time to work together to build Sultra, both on the islands and on land.
“We must work together to build Sultra. Let’s leave the democratic party euphoria behind and start working together to build a better Sultra,” he said.
After attending the simultaneous inauguration process, the Governor and Vice Governor of Sultra, accompanied by the Secretary of Sultra Province, Drs. H. Asrun Lio, M.Hum., Ph.D., held a virtual meeting with all Regional Device Organizations (OPD) under the Sultra Provincial Government to discuss programs to be implemented in the first 100 days of work.
